Mining Commission Unveils July Global Benchmark Prices for Key Minerals

DODOMA: The Tanzania Mining Commission has announced the World Indicative Prices (WIP) for July 2026, providing updated benchmark prices for some of the country’s most valuable mineral exports.

The newly released prices cover Gold, Copper and Silver, three of the world’s most sought-after minerals that continue to command strong demand in international commodity markets.

The monthly World Indicative Prices serve as an important reference for mineral valuation, trading and the calculation of royalties and other statutory payments within Tanzania’s mining sector.

The updated benchmarks also reflect prevailing trends in global mineral markets, helping guide industry stakeholders in pricing and commercial decision-making.
