SINGIDA. Mr Masumbuko Mwaluko, a high- profile economic expert in Singida Region has collected nomination form to compete for Parliamentary Seat in Manyoni Constituency through Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM).
Speaking to reporters shortly after being handed over the form, Mr. Mwaluko said his intention was to ask the party’s nomination to be the MP candidate in the constituency.
He expressed, he is very determined to help the Government in the region to solve the various challenges that upsetting communities in the area.
He unveiled , the challenges include poor access to various social services ranging from clean and safe water, health services, education and infrastructure, which are key in help propelling socioeconomic development.
“ I also thank our party chairman who is also our President, Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan as well as the party’s Secretary General, Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi for setting up a good rules and procedures for taking the nomination form, ” Mwaluko appreciated
And CCM District Secretary for Manyoni, Ms Maimuna Likunguni, said so far in the two district constituencies, including Itigi constituency a total of 25 people have emerged to take the forms to apply for the party’s consent.
“In Manyoni, a total of nine interested people have come out to take the form, two of them are women,” she said .
In Itigi, she added, at least 16 aspirants, including two women, have collected the forms.
