SUHARA Logistics Company Limited has hailed its participation in the Fifth Local Content Compliance Forum (LCCF 2026), saying the event has enabled the company to engage with key stakeholders in the mining industry, expand its business network, and unlock new growth opportunities.
Speaking to journalists, the company’s Project Manager, Amina Abdallah, said SUHARA Logistics provides comprehensive cargo transportation services, ensuring goods are delivered safely and efficiently from their point of origin to the customer’s designated destination while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
She said the company currently works with Geita Gold Mining Limited (GGML) in transporting various types of cargo and has consistently ensured that shipments reach clients safely and on time.
SUHARA operates offices in Dar es Salaam and Mwanza, as well as modern warehouses for storing cargo awaiting customs clearance and payment processing.
According to Abdallah, since its establishment, SUHARA Logistics has maintained an outstanding safety record, with no reported accidents or major operational incidents, reflecting the company’s commitment to delivering reliable, secure, and professional logistics services.
She noted that the continued growth of Tanzania’s mining sector has attracted increasing investment, contributing significantly to the country’s economic development. As a result, the company considered participation in LCCF 2026 an important opportunity to strengthen partnerships with industry stakeholders while promoting its services to the mining community.
Meanwhile, Sarah Utiku, Branch Supervisor for SUHARA Logistics in Mwanza, commended the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania for organizing the Fifth Local Content Compliance Forum, describing it as an important platform that has enabled the company to showcase its logistics solutions to mining stakeholders.
She said SUHARA has also made a significant contribution to community development by creating employment opportunities, with more than 90 percent of its workforce comprising Tanzanians.
In addition, the company actively implements corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes, including supporting schools, visiting orphanage centres, and participating in other community development initiatives.
Utiku added that SUHARA has built a strong reputation for providing end-to-end logistics services, from collecting cargo from suppliers to delivering it to buyers. The company also manages customs clearance procedures and works closely with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) to ensure goods are cleared efficiently and delivered safely and on schedule.
She invited participants at LCCF 2026 and other stakeholders in the mining industry to visit the SUHARA exhibition booth to learn more about the company’s services, noting that the forum has also provided an opportunity to learn from other industry players and further improve its service delivery.
Utiku also encouraged young Tanzanians to take advantage of the growing opportunities within the mining sector, saying the Government’s investor-friendly policies have continued to attract investment and create more employment opportunities for local citizens.
Speaking on the company’s warehousing operations, SUHARA Logistics Company Limited Director Anand Barchha said warehousing is a critical component of the supply chain for procurement and product distribution.
He explained that the company has invested in modern warehouse management systems and international best practices to ensure efficient cargo handling, timely domestic and international deliveries, improved supply chain performance, and greater customer confidence in its services.
