Dr Yonazi Urges Contractors To Complete Erection Of Government City Buildings On Time -

THE
Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister (Policy, Parliament and
Coordination) Dr. jim Yonazi has challenged the contractors who are
undertaking construction works for the government City in Mtumba area of
Dodoma Capital City to have the work complete in framed time and needed
standards.

The PS made
the call during his special tour to inspect progression works for the
construction of the various structures for to shelter various ministries
at the area mapped at the fringe of the country’s Capitals.

During
his tour, Dr. Yonazi inspected the ongoing construction of some of the
buildings including his Office, the President’s Office (Public Service
and Good Governance) the Office of the Attorney General, the Office of
the President’s Office (Regional Administrations and Local Governments-
TAMISEMI) as well as that of Water and Finance and Planning
ministries.

He
underscored over the need for each and every contractor involving in
the mega- project to reflect the set quality and standards while
considering the value of the money injected by the government.

“The
must work diligently and with patriotic spirit in order ensure these
vital buildings are completed on time and at required standards,” he
insisted.

However, he
appreciated the so far progress made in the construction of the vital
city, observing that the government has planned to ensure that no
contractor will be delated for any reason.

“The
government is determined to see that there are no bottlenecks in this
construction, so make sure you work round the clock to finalise finish
this project as directed,” Dr Jonazi emphasized
