PRIME Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba has officially opened the Chukwani Secondary School in Zanzibar, marking a significant milestone in the country’s education sector.
The event was part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of the Zanzibar Revolution.
The school, built at a cost of TSh 6.1 billion, aims to equip young people with knowledge, skills, innovation, and values, combining theory and practice to enhance opportunities for quality education in Zanzibar.
Dr Mwigulu praised Zanzibar President Dkt. Hussein Ali Mwinyi for his significant investment in education, stating it would greatly benefit the people of Zanzibar.
The Chukwani Secondary School is expected to enroll many students, providing them with quality education to compete in the national workforce.
Dr Mwigulu assured Zanzibar residents of the government’s continued support for education sector improvements.
