IT Experts Convene For Improvement Of e-Government System

Information Technology (IT) experts from various public institutions have participated in a special working session tailored to prepare and update the e-Government standards and guidelines.
Among others, the objective of the gathering which convened in Dodoma Capital City over the weekend was to ensure that the system is reflecting the e-Government Law No. 10 of the year 2019.
However, in the broad objective, the goal of the meeting was also to ensure that the Government develops the productive online system that help to increase efficiency in the service delivery to the public.
The three- day session was organized by the e- Government Authority (e-GA) at the Dodoma- based National Election Commission Hall.
The e-Government Authority (e-GA) is a public institution established in 2019 under the e-Government Act, No. 10 of 2019 to coordinate, oversee and promote e-Government initiatives and enforce e-Government related policies, laws, regulations, standards and guidelines in public institutions. It is a succeeding institution to e-Government Agency that existed from 2012.
