DODOMA. Member of Parliament (MP) for Mtumba constituency in Dodoma Mr. Anthony Mavunde is set to donate large photocopier machines and laptops as the move to revolutionalise education on his Constituency.
“Tomorrow, by the will of God, I, Hon. Anthony Mavunde, Member of Parliament for Mtumba, i will start fulfilling my promise by donating 20 large photocopier machines to each ward in my Constituency. This initiative aims to simplify the printing and distribution of exams, thereby reducing the financial burden on parents,” the lawmaker posted in his social media platform on Friday .
He added: “Additionally, I will also hand over 110 laptops to Ward Education Coordinators, Secondary School Head Masters, and Head Teachers of all Government Primary Schools in Mtumba Constituency. These laptops contain valuable resources, including: National exams from 1988-2024 for Form II, IV, and VI, additional books and textbooks, Simulations for Science subjects, video tutorials for various subjects as well as notes for all subjects.”
In concluding he said: “These resources are designed to enhance teaching and learning in our schools, and I believe they will greatly benefit our students and educators.”
