DODOMA. THE Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji, has presented an implementation report on the activities of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Lands, Natural Resources, and Tourism.
The presentation was made a few days before the opening of the Second Session of the 13th Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania.
During the meeting took place in Dodoma Capital City, a total of 16 implementation reports from the ministry and its affiliated institutions were presented and discussed, under the chairmanship of Mr. Thimotheo Mnzava.
The meeting’s objective was to review and assess the ministry’s performance, as well as to receive feedback and guidance from the committee aimed at enhancing service delivery to the public within the sector.
Also in attendance were the Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Mr. Hamad Chande, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Hassan Abbasi, Deputy Permanent Secretary Nkoba Mabula, along with ministry management, heads of institutions, and representatives from training colleges under the ministry.
