
DAR ES SALAAM. TANZANIA and India have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in managing foreign nationals and migration.
This was confirmed during a special meeting between Tanzania’s Commissioner General of Immigration, Dr. Anna Makakala, and the Indian High Commissioner to Tanzania, Bishwadip Dey.
The talks focused on strengthening collaboration between the two countries’ immigration authorities.
The meeting, held at the Immigration Office in Kurasini, Dar es Salaam, aimed to deepen the working relationship between the Tanzania Immigration Department and the Indian High Commission, particularly in managing foreign nationals and migration issues.
Ambassador Dey was accompanied by a delegation from the Indian High Commission, who reiterated India’s commitment to maintaining close cooperation with the Tanzanian government through its Immigration Department.
Both parties emphasized their determination to further strengthen cooperation to enhance national security, ensure public safety, and promote social and economic development in both countries.
