ALPHONCE Mabula Msanga, the talented Tanzanian international player, has joined the Taifa Stars squad in Egypt, where they are preparing for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Morocco.
Mabula, who plays for Shamakhi FC in Azerbaijan, is one of the latest additions to the squad, alongside experienced players like Simon Happygod Msuva and captain Mbwana Ally Samatta.
The team has been training in Cairo, Egypt, and recently secured a 1-0 win against Haras El Hodood SC in a friendly match, thanks to a goal from Morice Michael Abraham of Simba SC.
Taifa Stars will be participating in their fourth AFCON finals, after appearances in 1980, 2019, and 2023. They have been drawn in Group C, alongside Nigeria, Tunisia, and Uganda.
