“When commencing our services, the Tanzania’s lands surveying sector was crippled with two major setbacks,” he said.
The challenges, according to him, incorporated high prices for the lands surveying equipment, as well as short lifespan of the equipment.
“During the time, a single piece of equipment used to be sold at around 100m/-, whereby it lasted for two years only, thus didn’t reflected the value for investment,” he observed.
But through our services, he said the Center has managed to cut down the prices for the vital facilities, saying the equipment is currently available at an affordable price of at least 27.6m)-.
He added, with it’s headquarters based in Dar es Salaam, the Center which operates under the theme of ‘ The Game Changers’ is currently selling high- tech digitalized lands surveying equipment, such as the Robotic Total Station, and RTK GPS.
“The Robotic Total Station can precisely follow surveyors’ instructions, rotating and angling itself with pinpoint accuracy. This level of automation significantly reduces human error and fatigue during prolonged surveying sessions,”
“Furthermore, the instrument’s ability to communicate with surveying software enables real-time data collection and on-the-fly adjustments, streamlining the decision-making process,” he expressed.
He added, in the ever-evolving field of surveying and construction, technological advancements continue to reshape the way professionals gather data, ensure accuracy, and streamline operations, saying one such revolutionary tool making waves is the Robotic Total Station.
“We’re offering service through reflecting international standards to ensure for professional development and standards of Tanzania’s lands surveying sector,” he added.
He said the Center is planning to extend it’s foothold to more cities across the country.
” We’re appreciating the mutual cooperation that we kept on receiving from the Government, as well as the stakeholders from the private sector,”
