Speaker Meets Planning Commission Chief

Dr Msemwa arrived at the office of Speaker of Parliament to introduce himself following his recent appointment by President Samia Suluhu Hassan to handle the key post at the Commission
DODOMA. SPEAKER of the Parliament, Dr Tulia Ackson, today, Wednesday April 16, 2025, meet with the Executive Secretary (ES) of the National Planning Commission, Dr Fred Matola Msemwa.
Dr Msemwa arrived at the office of Speaker of the Parliament to introduce himself following his recent appointment by President Samia Suluhu Hassan to handle the key post at the Commission.
The National Planning Commission’s responsibilities include directing the national planning process, managing the economy, and ensuring the effective implementation of national development plans. It also oversee the monitoring and evaluation of projects and progress related to these plans.
Among others, the Commission is currently working to finalize development of the National Development Vision 2050.
