Igembe Nsabo Factory Introduces Apitherapy Services In Capital City

THE Tanzania’s renown honey processing factory, the Igembensabo Farm Implements Limited, has launched Apitherapy services in Dodoma Capital City.
The timely health initiative, the ‘Live Bee Stinging’ focuses to introduce and extending natural heath services across the central zone corridor, as well as the entire country as whole.
Apitherapy is a type of alternative therapy that uses products that come directly from honeybees.
The useful therapy treats illnesses and their symptoms as well as pain from acute and chronic injuries, whereby Illnesses that apitherapy may treat include multiple sclerosis, multiple sclerosis (MS), arthritis infections, shingles, injures, wounds, pain and burns among others.
The Director General (DG) of Igembensabo Farm Implements Limited, Mr Mazzari Taji, told this publication during an exclusive interview that the health facility has already started to roll out services.
Established in Nanenane area, at the fringe of Dodoma Capital City, Mr Taji observed that the state-of-the-art honeybees therapy centre is projected to play meaningful role to help heightening heath service delivery in the central zone.
“The facility is equipped with the needed modern apparatuses and it is manned by the high -profile experts in the relevant health field,” he unveiled.
With it’s headquarters in Nanenane Grounds, the establishment, Igembensabo Farm Implements Limited, works to assist the bee-farmers in the regions of Singida, Iringa, Manyara, Njombe and Dodoma.
“We’re running a special robust program, through which, we’re entering contracts with a good number of out -grower bee farmers whereby we give them free modern beehives, and as per the program setup, the farmers are supposed to sell all of their produced honey to our company, ” Mr Taji briefed.
And he communicated, as part to assist the government to improve performance of the country’s apiculture sector, the factory is running a special program to impart the beekeepers with needed awareness and skills.
“The vision, among others is to assist the local bee farmers to improve their beekeeping areas and adopt use of modern facilities, in order to meet the set standards at international honey markets,” he expressed.

Bee venom therapy is given as a shot for rheumatoid arthritis, nerve pain (neuralgia), multiple sclerosis (MS), reducing the reaction to bee stings in people who are allergic (desensitization) to them (venom immunotherapy), swollen tendons (tendonitis), and muscle conditions such as fibro myositis and enthesis’s.
