Farm Africa, the reputable international organization which works to equip farmers and growers in Tanzania with the skills and resources they need to boost their productivity has lost its Tanzania’s Country Director, Ms Tunsime Kyando.
According to a brief report from the NGO, Tunsime died in a traffic accident on Saturday evening in Dar es Salaam.
The late joined Farm Africa as a Tanzania Country Director in August 2024. She had quickly become a much loved, respected and valued colleague.
A highly experienced development economist and a wonderful team leader, Tunsime had big plans and ambitions for our programme. We are devastated that we will not be able to work with her to achieve these.
Tunsime leaves behind two young daughters. The Farm Africa team is united in our thoughts and prayers for the family.
