
The new stance focuses to ensure all CCM’s party leaders are executing their daily roles patriotically to have the party’s set Manifesto achieved
DODOMA. THE rulling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has said it has prepared a special disciplinary benchmark to deal perpendicular with all party’s leaders who will serve in discordant to the set ethics and regulations.
The party has alerted all of it leaders, including Ministers, legislators, regional and districts commissioners, city and municipal directors and others in the local government levels to handle their daily responsibilities by embracing a spirit of patriotism and accountability.
Addressing a special organised press conference this afternoon, Wed, November 19,2025, in Dodoma Capital City, Mr. Kenan Kihongosi, CCM’s Secretary of the National Executive Committee for Ideology, Publicity, and Training said that the party will relieve of their duties all leaders who will be dictated to have implicating into corruption, embezzlement of public funds, as well as negligence.
“We’re stepping into a new era through which the party is going to make an effective monitoring of the general execution of the government, and not the government to monitor the party,” he said.
Detailing over the new stance, Mr. Kihongosi said apart from doing away with the unscrupulous leaders, the party will take several punishments as provided by the relevant laws and regulations.
“We’re embarking into a no- nonsense move to ensure all party leaders are handling their responsibilities highly in order to have the party’s itimized manifesto materializing accordingly,” he insisted.
He noted, the party’s chairperson, President Samia Suluhu Hassan is very determined to bring about economic reforms in the country, the development which calls for seriousness and unity among all public leaders.
“In her remarks to inaugurate the 23th Parliament, President Samia explained her vision on how she is eager to attain several socioeconomic development in the country and thus, it is prudent to all leaders to stand at fore front, but more patriotically to ensure the much- needed vision is accomplished.
He said CCM will work to ensure all promises that president Samia gave to the public during the general election campaigns are highly fulfilled.
The party has also hailed president Samia for forming a special commission to investigate incidents involving breaches of peace and loss of human life that cropped up across the country during and post October 29 polls.
“We’re appealing to those picked to run the commission to accomplish the vital duty with an eye of humanity and patriotism in order to help maintain justice and peace in the country,” he appealed.
However, the party extended a message of condolences to all families across the country that loss their beloved ones due to the chaos, saying the government was working teeth and nail to ensure justice takes its course.
Reflecting to the directives from president Samia, the has also asked the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DDP) to treat with gloved hand the youth who have been detained due to the October 29 polls turmoil.
