SemaNewz is a Tanzanian online news platform operating under SEMA B.A Media Company, a registered entity. We run two YouTube TV channels: Sema TV (Swahili news) and SemaTV Two (English news). Our online presence includes Swahili blogs, SemaSwahili and SwahiliNews.
Our founder, Mr. Valentine Oforo, is a seasoned journalist with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Tumaini University (Iringa College). He boasts an impressive background in reporting for prominent media outlets, including Dailynews, The Citizen, The African, The Echo, The Guardian, The Express, Tanzania Times, Arusha Times, Radio Mwangaza, The Mirror Digest, and Pan African Vision.
